PHYSIOTHERAPY

Be a runner, KEEP BEING a runner... Be fit, stay fit!

For every runner the most important thing is a good health. Running Barcelona offers specialized physiotherapy for runners; with practical advice for prevention and fast personal treatment for injuries and active recovery training.

Examples of treatment are: IT band, tendinitis plantar, shin splints, runners knee and muscle trauma.

With a session of 1 hour, Running Barcelona offers physiotherapy specializing in sports injuries and running. The treatment is a combination of manual therapy and active exercises. Key during the treatments is the information given to the client, to make them not only understand his/her problem, but also actively collaborate in the recovery process. The goal is to get fast short term positive effects with long term lasting results.

Running Barcelona offers a unique service to improve energy, easy to understand and practical information will be provided to you as well as physical and mental coaching exercises such as: training principles, risk of overload, effects of stress, exercise circuit, tips for converting negative thoughts, stretching your body, relax, breathe, etc.

All coaching sessions are personalized and hands-on with a ‘practical’ approach and is ideal for beginners and elite runners.

RACE GUIDANCE

Optimal guidance during your (dream) race

Running Barcelona offers not only pre-race services, but also can help you during your race with mental and physical guidance.

Services can range from running with you during a road race providing you constant positive feedback and assistants with eating and drinking to full assistants during an ultra trail including physical treatment, mental coaching and help at the food stations.

Many clients have already experienced the great additional value of our services helping them to complete their dreams. Amongst our clients are runners that completed their first 10km race or marathon up to elite trail runners finishing 170km UTMB.
